Gather round the fire pit and learn the art of making your very own charcoal. During this workshop you will learn how to create one of the most ancient forms of drawing tools. Once your charcoal has cooled down you can get creative and start drawing. This outdoor workshop can be run either as a drop in session over the course of a morning or afternoon or as an hour and a half workshop for a maximum of 8 people. Suitable for adults and accompanied children aged 7 and over. Email me for prices.
I have worked as an an art teacher since 2012 - working in gallery education, community outreach programmes and in schools teaching Nat 5 and Higher Art and Design exam courses. Through my art lessons the students learn to engage with the world around them, exploring it through colour, form and feeling. I also teach workshops which explore the theory of colour through looking at the history of paints and pigments. Contact me for more details.
I run workshops for adults who wish to explore their creativity. We cover fundamental drawing techniques before moving on to mixed media, working with pure pigments and printmaking. Contact me for details of upcoming courses.
